Whether you’re an experienced wine drinker or just exploring, 90pluswine wants to introduce you to wines you never have picked up and lead you to discover a bottle you find amazing!
The Challenge
In the wine world, there is a person known as the 'Sommelier'. This is a person who is a master of wines, knows everything about them, can recommend the perfect wine for your taste or to go with the food you are eating. We want to make an experience where it's like you have your own personal Digital Sommelier.
Our Approach
We have built an algorithm and artificial intelligence that will get to know you over time so it can choose the best wines you will like. Ninety Plus Wine combines our love of wine and our passion for technology to learn your tastes and deliver you wines that will evolve with your palate and delight you.
Branding
90pluswine gives a decent feel of a wine club with a royal blue & brown theme. A user would feel like they are entering into the digital club to get the wine.
STRATEGY & UX DESIGN
We build artificial intelligence to understand user needs and match them to the best wines. UX includes user interviews (novice vs expert), card sorting, customer journey mapping, customer benchmarking, and user patterns to define the context of scope.
Wireframes
Wireframes were designed for the whole user flow through the site, the admin panel, and email communication. Those wireframes were then used to build working prototypes using Sketch & InVision tools which were able to define the skeleton of the grid, navigation, model, page layout, cta, and other content areas.
Interface Design
The 90pluswine digital 'Sommelier' helps to pair you with the best wines. The artificial intelligence understands your needs by getting your choice of food, fruits, beverages/alcohols, smell, flavors etc..
Recurring your wine order
90pluswine provides an intuitive way to get recommendations of 90 points or higher wine bottles to purchase with one time or yearly membership. It also allows you to get your preferred wine bottle to add-in list.
